Ludacris recently revealed the title of his forthcoming seventh solo album.
Rumours had been floating around that the project would be titled Cineplex but the Atlanta rapper divulged to Rap Up that his latest set will be titled Ludaversal.
“I never remotely said anything about something called Cineplex. Dead that shit,” Luda said. “It’s Ludaversal. That’s what comes after Battle of the Sexes.”
Battle of The Sexes, which is slated to hit shelves this year, will be a collaborative album with fellow DTP rapper Shawanna.
“It’s never been done before. An album with a female and male perspective battling out every song,” explained Luda.
Ludaversal is expected to hit stores in 2010.
Lil Wayne’s often criticized and anticipated rock album, The Rebirth, has been pushed back yet again–at least according to a Universal Motown rep.
Contrary to recent reports claiming Rebirth would be hitting stores sometime in September after being pushed back a fourth time, a rep for Motown says it is now looking more like an October release.
Cash Money just changes their dates whenever they want to,” says a Universal Motown rep.
“It’s definitely not August. I have no idea why it was moved, and I’m not anticipating a September release. Right now I’m looking at closer to October,” the rep tells Entertainment Weekly.
“It’s not going to be ’til the end of the year. We’re talking about holiday [season].”
