Too Short Busted On DUI Charge In Las Vegas

Legendary Bay Area rapper, Too Short, was busted for a DUI early Thursday morning (August 27) in Las Vegas.

According to TMZ:

Cops say rapper Too Short was too far over the legal limit to be driving around Las Vegas this morning.

According to law enforcement, Short — real name Todd Shaw — was arrested for DUI, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, speeding and exhibition of power (burning rubber) by Las Vegas Metro Police at around 4:00 AM.

It’s the second time Short’s been popped for DUI — in Las Vegas — in the last three months.

Cops say the 43-year-old is still behind bars.

Timbaland Reveals Collaborators On ‘Shock Value 2’

Timbaland announced the collaborators on his upcoming album Shock Value 2 via Ustream yesterday (August 27).

According to Timbo, Shock Value 2 will feature collabos with Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Estelle, Missy, Drake, Keri Hilson, Usher, Chris Brown, Jonas Bros, Daughtry, Hollywood Undead, Danja, Pharrell and his younger brother Sebastian.

Shock Value 2 is slated for release in 2010.

The Dream Named VP Of Isalnd Records

Along with singer, songwriter and producer, The-Dream has now added another profession to his repertoire – Vice President of Island Def Jam Music Group.

The-Dream announced the promotion via his Twitter page. “I wanna thank everyone at Island Records/DefJam for their faith in me and making me Executive Vice President of Island Records,” wrote The-Dream. “Thank you to my manager Mark Stewart & my attorney Aaron Rosenberg for getting this 1st step of a goal accomplished.”

The-Dream also thanked several industry executives, including Island Def Jam Chairman Antonio “L.A.” Reid and the singer’s production partner Tricky Stewart.

“I look forward to the challenge of rebuilding music for not only Island Records but for Universal Records as a whole. Today I’m humbled and blessed,” he added.
