Baby Says Hot Boys Album Done, Wants Atlantic To Release B.G.
“They recorded a whole album and we are looking to put it out for the summer time,” Baby told AllHipHop.
The Hot Boys, comprised of Lil Wayne, Juvenile, B.G. and Young Turk, helped rocket Cash Money Records to fame in the late 90’s.
The group would disband after B.G., Juvenile and Turk left Cash Money accusing Birdman of cheating them out of royalties.
Birdman also discussed the current legal issues faced by Lil Wayne and B.G.
B.G. was arrested on a gun charge last week while Lil Wayne will be headed to jail in February for a year long sentence for gun charges.
Birdman claims he wants Atlantic Records to release B.G. so he could help the rapper solve his numerous issues.
“I just talked to [B.G.]. If you know B.G., he’s st ill in that jungle where it prescribes to carry tools [guns], or you can be the next n***a with a tag on your toe,” Baby stated. “Atlantic release the lil n***a so we can try to get him some money. See they don’t know how he’s living. I know how he’s living, so I was trying to say yall let him go, let me take him, I’ma get him some money, I’ma bring him with me, he can come to Miami and be a part of everything we got. But they don’t know the significance of a n***a’s lifestyle, they just think the n***a is a business. “
“He already hurting, yall aint doing nothing for a n***a. I got love for him,” Birdman continued. “I’ll bring him in and give him a life and a lifestyle, but now he’s heading for another life and another lifestyle.”
As for Lil Wayne, Birdman says Weezy will still be a force despite his upcoming absence from the public.
“I promise you, you’ll think [Lil Wayne] never left the streets. It aint much about the music at this point with my son, like f**k the music,” Baby said. “We got to go through something family wise, that the fans and nobody else will ever have to go through. This is the first time I will ever be without my child that means the world to me. This is where Blood stick together.”
Birdman will be releasing his fourth album titled Pricle$$ on November 23rd.
As reported earlier, Lil Wayne will be releasing Rebirth on December 15th and will be packaged as a double disc along with the debut effort from his Young Money crew titled We Are Young Money.
